STOPtober is a 28-day stop smoking challenge launched in 2012 in the United Kingdom. It kicks off annually on October 1st. The idea behind the 28 day stop is research that suggests that if you can stop smoking for 28 days, you are five times more likely to stay smoke-free for good.
